Blimey!

Long time time no post! Superrr massive apologies for this! I am the worst blogger on earth aha!
I think the last time i blogged was around my big summer assessment, and i was freaking out because i was so worried that i wouldn't get the work finished in time - and getting myself an awful grade.
Well i didn't finish the project 100% but i was close enough, and still earned a distinction, with thanks to the lovely tutor.
I still can't get over that i haven't blogged in such a long time!
Life has been pretty busy, a few up ands downs, naturally; had a pretty nice summer at home, loved our weather while it lasted! Just come back from an awesome college trip to Amsterdam! I want to move there now and live in a house with big windows with my future-to-be-Sphynx cats. (Oh yes, my current dream would to become a fully-fledged Sphynx kitty breeder. And to then create illustrations about my cats.)
Now just looking forward to getting my big upcoming assessment out the way, and following that, Christmas! (Then my birthday! My Boxing Day birthday is definately one my favorite things) Exciting times, although i've been so badly organized this year for presents, normally i have atleast half of my friend's/families presents bought about now.

I hope you all had lovely summers, and are looking forward to the festivies of Christmas! (when they're not forcing it on us so early on)

I'll include a few photos from the space between my last blog post and now <3

Lacking

I miss my camera, it's been away in London with my oldest brother Richard since Monday as he needed it to photograph something for Ebay.
A little bit of a pain in the ass, i miss being unable to take tonnes of photos of my cats, things i buy from my favorite charity shop, and generally, life.
Besides, i need it for a wedding of some good friends that I'm attending this Saturday.

Despite feeling rather torn away from my camera, I've had a fairly good half term so far.
I've been working on my book for the colleges illustration project, 25 drawings relating to words from a letter of our choice. Mine of course, was 'B' for Boo... brains/bastard/bus/beer/baby, you get the idea.

I'm going on my first hen night tonight. All exciting stuff. Breaking out the rather vampy purple lipstick and drinking cocktails. It's all good! How's your week been?

Hello, Half Term

Thank goodness for sunshine, it's just made my life 100% better! After a fricken ridiculous 11 weeks straight of coursework, I'm now super happy to have completed all my assessments and finally having some time to enjoy freedom from college, despite that i love being there.

I've been enjoying the company of my friend today, making the most of the weather by visiting Needham Mark, before coming back and chilling in Christchurch Park for a good few hours.
We've got nephew cat, Boris- pictured below visiting too, as mummys in Poland getting her teeth done. He's so loveable now he's had his little peanuts chopped off!

I watched Chocolat for the first time ever today, and oh man, Johnny Depp looked lush.
It was already a really good film, him being in it was just the bonus!
He annoyingly looks just as gorgeous as he grows older, mmmmm.
We women should be just as lucky!

Oh man, long time no blog. I'll be back on track soonish! As you can see, college work has been stealing me away from normal life. As usual.

Far Far Away

MAH.
Hello there! Hope all is well with you.
I've been away most of this half term, i was in London (Haringey, Green Lanes to be exact) for four days visiting my good friend/sister/brother's ex girlfriend Ewa and my nephew cat Boris.
We did tonnes of walking (unfortunately, not so much buying), accidentally slept in late everyday despite planning to wake up early and get the most out of London and it's sights and the weather was dull.

But despite this, we still had lots of fun!
I'd been needing to get to the Saatchi Gallery, the head of year on my course had been emphasizing that everyone should try and visit it whenever in London. So we had a good old gander.
I'll include some photos from my visit there shortly!
Besides the Saatchi Gallery (which i by the way found to be quite inspirational in areas), we took a trip down to The West End, and eventually Camden the following day.
Had planned to go the same day, but the city was crazy busy, so exhausting.
People, EVERYWHERE!

I didn't buy much down in London, i found that visiting such a vast amount of shops with a limited supply of £30, (which went up to £50 after a family friend was kind enough to give me a gift of £20, thank you Rae!) - was bloody difficult!
I didn't want to buy anything from just say, Topshop - (in which i barely can afford to buy stuff full price, out of sale) for the sole fact of burning money in my pocket. -I knew i'd regret it otherwise!
So instead i clung onto my money, and ended up buying this little beauty:

H+M, £3.99

My little owl find, it was a lucky discovery, found him hidden behind some adorable deer/fox/owl combo rings.
He was the last of his kind. I keep wanting to wear it non-stop, but i'm scared i'll tarnish it as i have with my other rings.Ugh, excuse my nasty looking skin, and panda eyes. Taken just before a face wipe, then bedtime.

Another two buys were from my beloved Camden Town, in the stalls. Oh i love it!
Damn my lack of money. I would have bought more!
My favorite buy has to be this though:

 Mustardness!
I love my mustard hat, £8! Currently I'm going through this phase of loving the colour-it's perfect.
Whilst in the West End i purchased a rather cute knit dress in a slightly darker mustard tone too. Need a bit of warmth to make up for the hair missing from my shaved patch. It's chilly without it!
Whatever mustard next, i shall see.

I'm not photogenic.

I realise this has to be my longest post, my apologies, no doubt you're bored by now.
It's just i go so long without blogging, i have so much to show by the time i eventually do!

Finally, besides some lush H+M bedding i bought (and will have to include a picture of later), was this adorable card by the wonderful Rob Ryan whilst visiting the Saatchi Gallery. Only recently i was introduced to his amazing/envious work, so i totally had to buy this. It had me aawing.
I bought it specially to frame for my room:

Lovely!
What have you been buying recently, and get up to anything exciting this half term?
